Big Brother

Isaac told Jeremy "it's not so bad having a sister", so I think he's getting used to the idea that Reese is here to stay! Here are a few pictures of Isaac and his little sister...

Spring is here!!

The great weather meant our first trip to the zoo (and the first outing by myself with two kids!). It was a great day, and I wish we could do it all summer...but unfortunately, mom is headed back to work in two short weeks.

We are blessed to welcome Reese Olivia Barton to our family!

"Frosty"

Isaac and Jeremy had a great time in the snow. When we asked Isaac the name of his snowman, he replied without hesitation "Dad, his name is Frosty!" And yes, when you can't find a button or coal the next best thing is Easter eggs!

The way it looks in Nebraska, Frosty will be with us for quite some time...

Hats and Slippers...

It's been too long since our last update. We're all anxiously awaiting the arrival of the baby, and we've decided to keep the gender a surprise this time!! Isaac is convinced he's having a sister...we'll find out around the 11th of February! Nine weeks and counting.

To everyone else this may look like a fuzzy picture of a bean, but to Isaac it's his new little brother or sister!! This was about a month ago (at 8 weeks). We heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday, and the baby will grace us with his or her presence the first part of February!
